Share asset files

Learn how to share files and linked files in Assets via the mobile app to make documents easily accessible.

What you'll need

Turn on file sharing on mobile for your organization to allow users to share files in Documents, Assets, and Heads Up.

Share an asset file

  1. Open the mobile app.

  2. Tap Assets cube iconAssetsin the navigation bar or select it from Assets gallery view iconMore.

  3. Tap the asset and select Media tab.

  4. Select your file.

  5. Tap More horizontal icon at the upper-right of your screen.

  6. Select Share (box and arrow) iconShare from the pop-up options. Share an asset file via the mobile app.

  7. Share the file accordingly.

Users must have SafetyCulture version 25.38 or above to share files and linked files in Assets on the mobile app.
