Learn how to update your plan’s billing address in the web app so it's accurate with your card details, invoices, and other billing-related documents.How does my billing address work?
When you sign up for a SafetyCulture plan using a credit card, we use your billing address to help your card issuer verify the payment. This ensures that your address reflects correctly in your future invoices and billing statements. You can update your billing address in the web app whenever your company details change. Keeping this information up to date helps reduce failed payments and ensures your invoices and tax documents stay accurate with your current records.
Updates to your billing address only apply to new invoices, not existing ones.
If you're based on the United States, please also update your company address as that determines your sales tax.
Update your billing address
Click your organization name on the lower-left corner of the page and select Billing.
Click Details at the top of the page.
In the "Billing details" section, click
Edit.
Update your billing address accordingly.
Click Save and apply.
Frequently asked questions
When your billing address matches the address your card issuer has on file, your payments are more likely to be approved. If these addresses don’t match, your card payment may be flagged as suspicious and get declined, disrupting your SafetyCulture experience. It's recommended to keep your billing address up to date so that your invoices and tax-related documents remain accurate with your company details.
When you update your billing address, the change will only reflect in future invoices. This means that your paid and past invoices will retain your previous billing address, and cannot be altered.
